"This definitely has to be the feature match for the second round. The first map was called by RD, which was Embassy. SR called O; RD Defense was very tight and solid. They held to make the score 1-0; on SR's defense it ended up as a 2 on 1, SR holds. Next map called would be Riverbed. RD holds, making it 2-1, with Mission with two kills right off the bat. Then on SR's D, SR Broadside, yours truly, had 5 kills to even up the score at 2-2. Next map called was Roadblock. It was an RD sweep, solid map for them, score 4-2. Next map called was High Sierra - SR sweep, Witch with 3 kills on offense and Broadside with 3 MPfizzle kills on defense. Tying the score up at 4-4, the RD called Tank. RD took it on offense, then Witchwrench and Canadian Taurus. We left 2 against 4 - Lady Witch with 5 offensive kills tied it up at 5-5. Nice save, Witch. Then onto sudden death - random map was Embassy, spawns turned out to be regular red and blue, just mixed up, but base still at red spawn. RD would take this map to win the match 5-6. Good games - it was a nice, clean match. Good luck in the tournament. Frankenstein awards for SR go to Witchwrench for her stunning display on Tank offense and overall big number of kills, and also goes to Leftoverman for his good job on Riverbed defense with 5 kills, nice job on High Sierra offense, and sheer volume of kills."

"The quarterfinal match between the Nomads and Rolling Dice was one of the most talent-filled matches in TeamCompete.com history. Almost every player in this match has one or more TC championships under his belt. The lineups for the two teams looked more like an All-Star roster. The Nomads, a team stacked with superstars, brought their 5:

Bloody Don (G Unit 180) - Arguably the best LMS player ever.
CORVINO/CORV1NO - Nasty brother combo, although mainly OGR LMS players.
Kokopuffs - Rocket Trick and great all-around player.
Raphael - Considered by many, along with MissionGosling, to be the best siege player ever.

Not to be outdone, Rolling Dice, the reigning OGR and GRIT LMS Champions, brought their 5:

MissionGosling - Considered by many to be the best overall player in the game.
NYCK1LLA - Been with RD since the beginning, well rounded, experienced player.
Free YAYO - Along with Mission and NYC, an experienced RD member and team leader.
xTh3 Gr3atestx - Former captain of Death Legacy, an excellent overall player.
Rap1 U - Nasty LMS player and great Sensor skills.

With the lineups set, RD picked Embassy as their first map, and the Nomads chose to play Offense first. Both teams came out aggressively. The Nomads sent several players directly into the Embassy courtyard, and RD sent NYC there as well. With more people than he could cover in the Embassy, NYC strafed out and killed Kokopuffs and was then immediately killed by a grenade from CORVINO. The Nomads started advancing around the Embassy, but Mission took one down as he attempted to cross the road. Raphael took down Mission at the rubble pile with a sniper, then eliminated Th3 Gr3atest at the hotel. Nomads up 3 men to 2. Fortunately for RD, Rap1 U killed a man in the Alleyway with a claymore, and YAYO and he held defense. RD up 1-0.

On the Nomads' defense, Rap1 U was killed early on going for the Café with Sensors. Mission killed Raphael near the rubble pile to even things up. In the second minute, only a second or two apart, Rap1 U shot and killed CORVINO, and NYC threw a grenade and killed CORV1NO, both north of the Embassy. RD is up 4 men to 2. Kokopuffs wounds NYC three times, Bloody Don kills Th3 Gr3atest and Mission, while Kokopuffs finishes off NYC. YAYO is down 2 to 1 and wounded but pops up and down on Bloody Don and Koko for the win. RD up 2-0.

The Nomads pick Night Castle, and RD elects to attack first. Again, both teams come out aggressively. Kokopuffs kills Th3 Gr3atest within the first 30 seconds on the defense's right side. RD comes right back as NYC kills CORVINO, rushing the left side. NYC continues up the offensive right side and kills Raphael. Mission advances the offensive left as NYC rushes the right, and each have one more kill before RD takes the base. RD up 3-0.

On RD's defense, NYC rushes the left side and kills Raphael early. Th3 Gr3atest gets taken down to even it up. Both teams lose another two men to make it a 2 v. 2: Mission and YAYO against the CORVINO brothers. Mission kills one and has the second lined up, but time runs out as the Nomads' last man runs for the base. RD up 4-0.

RD picks Tank, and the Nomads take defense. Even though RD sees CORVINO running for the tents down south, they are unable to kill him. Raphael kills NYC, YAYO and Rap1 U with a sniper. Th3 Gr3atest takes down Raphael and another Nomad, but is killed. Mission kills Kokopuffs to make it a 1 v. 2, but is killed by CORVINO (the man who got away in the beginning) down south by the tents. RD up 4-1.

On RD's defense the Nomads cross the river down south very quickly and attack the base from the South. Mission and Th3 Gr3atest each take down a Nomad fairly early on. The Nomads take down Th3 Gr3atest and Mission, but it costs them two of their own. CORVINO is the last one alive against 3 RD and is killed by Mission to end it."
